Your Role on the Team Position Summary: Incumbent works in a high volume Referral Center to establish, support and maintain relationships with internal and external referral entities, such as medical groups, IPA's, Health Plans and community physicians

Required Qualifications: - Working knowledge of MS Office products
- Understanding of medical terminology as well as insurance programs and payors
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a Customer Service position within the health care environment
- Knowledge of hospital based registration/scheduling system to register patients
- Demonstrated skill to communicate via telephone and handle extremely high volume of phone calls
- Ability to problem solve, negotiate and research for answers
- Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to appropriately deal with stressful situations and individuals while remaining calm and professional
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous call center experience
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese
