Seeking a Senior level Construction Project Manager with a minimum Secret Clearance to lead a unique and ambitious federal construction project in Laurel, MD. Candidate Qualifications:
· Four-year degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
· Minimum of 10 years project management work experience on commercial or Government construction projects valued over $25M
· DoD Secret Clearance
The selected Program Manager (PM) will provide support at The James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC), located at 9200 Powder Mill Road in Laurel, Maryland. The selected PM will provide a range of analytical and planning, design, and construction management support services to assist the JJRTC Facility Engineering Branch in the accomplishment of its missions.
Duties:
· The PM will provide oversight of construction related activities for contracts.
· Support Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) by performing all project management tasks.
· Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
· Coordination with customers, schedule review, and design review.
· Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field.
· Review contractor submittals for contract conformance.
· Provide assistance to the contracting officer or COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project
· Attend/participate in site orientation visits;
· Attend/participatE in joint contractor/government meetings.
· Draft technical responses to any change orders.
· Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications.
