Job Description

Job Summary:

The Electrical Technician is responsible for contributing to the achievement of company objectives in the areas of manufacturing, safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Supporting manufacturing, assuring efficient operation and quality centric production material processing through utilizing various manufacturing techniques and tooling
• Assisting other departments within (as assigned) including but not limited to the testing lab, Shipping & Receiving, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance
• Perform daily duties to ensure the safety of employees and general upkeep of facility and property
• Perform all daily duties in compliance with all Quality Management requirements identified in Quality Manual
• Perform basic cable terminations, including fish hooking
• Perform basic urethane & epoxy castings that include cable preparation, weighing and measuring chemicals, surface preparation of metal parts, mold preparation, and clean-up/repair of finished castings
• Perform chemical, compression disc, and mechanical seals
• Assist in the moving of materials, shipments, furniture, and deliveries
• Perform basic scheduled equipment maintenance activities
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions/procedures
• Ability to understand and comply with safety requirements
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a team environment
• Basic measuring skills using ruler, micrometer and caliper
• Ability to grip and grasp continuously

· Work with minimal supervision or assistance from others

• Ability to read & Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions desired

· Ability to pass forklift training

• Available for overtime as needed 

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:30a.m. - 4:00p.m

Payrate : $22.00 -$26.00
