About the Role:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the friendly and professional voice patients can rely on. You'll communicate with patients over the phone, assist with prescription refills, and ensure all concerns are addressed promptly. You'll collaborate with healthcare providers and work closely with our pharmacists to maintain seamless patient care. Your role will be crucial in upholding compliance with our quality standards and healthcare regulations.
This position may require flexibility, with rotating shifts between 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Build rapport and communicate effectively with patients to ensure clinical compliance and timely medication shipments.
Collaborate with the order management and fulfillment teams to maintain medication compliance and address patient concerns.
Take direction from pharmacists and leadership to ensure adherence to specialty call compliance programs.
Support various projects and activities as assigned to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a specialty pharmacy call center setting.
Work Environment:
This position operates within a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Regular communication with patients and internal teams is essential.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this role, you will regularly need to talk or hear.
Frequent movement, including standing, walking, and using hands and fingers, is required.
