Position Overview
We're seeking a Marketing Manager, Direct Mail Strategy to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Direct Mail Strategy, you'll lead data-driven marketing initiatives that fuel our largest growth channel. You'll develop campaigns, execute test plans, and work cross-functionally to ensure seamless implementation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing, analysis, and collaboration.
Your Responsibilities
Campaign Development: Design and execute direct mail campaigns to achieve and exceed financial goals. Present data-driven recommendations with clear assumptions and forecasts.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Accurately forecast campaign performance based on historical data, seasonality, pricing, and other variables. Manage budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Performance Analysis: Partner with analytics teams to assess campaign results, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Creative Services, Marketing Operations, and external partners to align campaigns with business goals and partner strategies.
Test Planning: Propose creative, product, and pricing tests; develop statistically sound test plans; and analyze outcomes to inform future strategies.
Data Management: Maintain comprehensive campaign records, including performance data and post-campaign analysis, to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
Execution Excellence: Oversee all strategy documents, ensure creative alignment with brand and partner requirements, and deliver error-free campaigns on time.
What We're Looking For
Experience and Skills:
Marketing Expertise: 5+ years of experience in DTC marketing, with a strong focus on direct mail campaigns.
Leadership: 3+ years of direct people management experience, fostering team growth and addressing challenges effectively.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in leveraging data to drive results, with proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to assess risks, create actionable plans, and capitalize on market opportunities.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organization & Adaptability: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft or Google Suites.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
